- Manly. He's the only man for me. I could say the best, but if something ever happened to him and I was left here alone I don't think I could ever find anyone to replace him. I'd always think they weren't as perfect for me as he is. He is my better half. The cream and extra sugar in my coffee. The love of my life. My BFF. My baby daddy.
- My kids. They'll each have their own numbers later, but I'm thankful for them as a whole too. They make me laugh, teach me things I never knew about myself, and stretch me to limits I didn't know I had. I am a better person because of them. They are like a warm brownie on a cold day.
- My mom and dad. I know they think that we are CRAZY for some of the choices we've made, but they still love us and try to respect the way we do things. They are AMAZING grandparents and they'd just about give every last penny they had just to see a smile on the kids faces.
- My suburban. It's so nice and roomy and gets us where we need to be. Best part. It's paid for!
- Scotty's ghetto Saturn. It's not roomy, but that suckah ALWAYS starts and ALWAYS gets us where we need to be(unless it has ANOTHER flat!). Great on gas and the rattle kind of calms my nerves a little...
- Our local library. I often hear it getting trashed by folks in the area, but I personally love it. There's even one worker that will start to collect my reserved books when he sees me come in the door. That's service! I love that they will get my books together and have them ready at the door. It saves me so much time and energy. It also saves all the library patrons from getting to watch me try to keep 5 kids 7 and under quiet while I find 1,000,000 books on the tropical rain forest. Ha!
- Homeschooling. There are days when I think I can't go on, but then I listen to Olivia read aloud to her siblings or watch ADDI find Brazil on the world map and I KNOW we've made the best choice for our kids education. I know what's going into their minds and hearts and I love that I am the one that gets the privilege to put it there.
- Fellowship Bible Church. It's been, by far, one of the best things that's ever happened to us. We've been loved on, spurred on, and have some of the most amazing friends that we've met there. It took leaving for a while to show us such a deep appreciation for being home.
- Music. It makes me happy. There's nothing else that can pull out so much emotion in me so quickly. It's my one thing. If I ever have to drop all my commitments except "one thing" it's the one I always keep. Singing on the praise team rejuvenates me and gives me such JOY.
- Addi's squishy hug. She's the best hugger of all the kids. She's always been a love bug and I just love how she gets all up in your business to give the best possible hug.
- KK's silly sense of humor. That girl is HYSTERICAL. I'm so thankful for her always being able to lighten things up a little.
- Lulu's constant desire to be her best and be helpful. This girl has a heart of GOLD. I love that she's always willing to put others before herself.
- Brub's kisses. That boy will kiss his momma all day if I let him. He says, "MORE! KISS!" He loves that he's able to make me smile. LOVE having a baby boy. How he knows how to melt his momma's butter heart!
- Mia's kicky feet. We can tell she loves music because any time she hears any music at all she kicks her feet. So sweet and charming. Her little personality is starting to come out too and we are seeing that she's tending to be a little high maintenance, but she knows when to throw on the charm and is so joyful!
- Lamps. Turning on lamps always makes our home feel nice and warm.
