Addi, as She Sees It

Most of the time I talk about Addison it's more of the same. Either about how she's a little on the diva side, or about her being fancy. She is, in a word, princessy. The girl loves all things "purplish pink," frilly, and shiny. She's been known to cry out, "THIS IS NOT FANCY ENOUGH!!!" She doesn't like to wear pants, only dresses. She wants to be pretty and fancy at all times.
This past Sunday she brought home her usual sack from church. Usually these sacks have their craft from the day, a sheet on the lesson they learned, and a copy of the memory verse they're working on. I was surprised to see that Addison's also included artwork this week. When I saw it a huge smile broke onto my face.

First of all, Addison always draws herself nice and tall with PLENTY of long eyelashes! It always makes me laugh, because she usually forgets to add hair, but she's styling and batting the lashes. Ha!

When I asked her about this picture she said(in her most excited Addi voice), "Oh! Let me tell you about it! This is ME and my two best friends-Carter and Cooper! They love me SO much that they are bringing me flowers because they know that's my favorite thing." I said, "OH! They are BOTH bringing you flowers?" She said(in a much less dramatic voice), "Yes. They both want to marry me in this picture so they want me to pick one of them..."

See, this is my first child who's ever had her eyes on a certain boy(or in this case boys). I'm starting to worry that our Addi may be the child who climbs out of the window to escape for an evening! This girl keeps me on my toes, that's for sure! SO, be watching over your shoulder New and Crow families, my Addi has her eye on your boys! Ha!
