Is That Really the Size of the Earth?

We woke up early our second day in Disney. We had an 8:05 reservation with the princesses, and one can NOT be late for an affair like that. We quickly dressed the girls in their best princess and fairy gear, hopped a bus to Epcot, and made our way to Akershus.
Mia and KK as Snow White(s).

Addi as Tinker Bell.

My sweet Mia's face when she first saw Belle.

I think Mia thought she was going to stay with Belle forever. Ha! I always feel like such a dope when they make us get in the picture with the characters. Ha! Look at Eli's face. I guess he likes Belle too.

We were seated quickly, and the princesses came by soon after we sat down. The food at Akershus is AMAZING, so we made plates, and sat back down for a fun breakfast.

Cinderella with the kids. I told Manly this was pre-teen Cinderella. She seriously looked like she was 12. She was really nice though. Notice Eli trying to reach for someone's food. Ha!

Another hysterical moment. Eli was SCREACHING with delight at Aurora. We didn't really think this princess was very princessy but the kids didn't seem to notice.

Ariel was so sweet and lovely. Eli is obviously mesmerized.

LOVED this moment of Mia meeting her favorite princess, Snow White. Snow White was so sweet and let Mia hug and hug her.

Snow White was their favorite when I asked them afterwards.

Addi got a cupcake on top of everything else. She loved being the birthday girl.

After breakfast we visited the rest of Epcot. One of my favorite things about Disney is the amazing Nemo and Friends area in Epcot. There are rare marine animals, amazing aquariums, and fun activities for the whole family. There is an amazing ride that is real life fish along with computer generated characters from Finding Nemo. They all appear to be swimming together in the tank, which is REALLY cool.
My Livi was so helpful to push the extra stroller when I was needing to hold Eli. She said it made her look like a teenager that was babysitting. I'd say she looks TOO big to me!!

Our family facing the sun. Ha! This is right outside the Seas With Nemo and Friends area.

We loved being able to let Eli get down and explore the aquarium area. This would not be possible in the regular season, but with a lower crowd we were able to let him have lots of fun crawling around.

Our kids LOVE watching fish, so they could have stayed right here all week long.

After we were finished seeing all the sites there, we went through the World Showcase and "snacked around the world" with our snack credits from our meal plan. The kids LOVED the desserts in France.
Isaiah loved the drum area in one of the countries.
After that we moved back to the Seas with Nemo and Friends and had a late lunch at Coral Reef. This restaurant is on the other side of the aquarium from the attractions. We had amazing seats, and enjoyed this place very much. Manly and I both had the steak, and it was near perfect. We also had really yummy desserts. I named Coral Reef my new favorite I enjoyed it so much.

The kids waiting for our name to be called.

Our view from our seats in the restaurant.

Baby Brother finally decided to take a rest on Momma.

Sorry these pictures are blurry. I need a new camera REALLY badly.
As we were leaving Manly mentioned something about the big ball at Epcot being called "Spaceship Earth." He said he read it could fit into the aquarium with room to spare. For some reason all those sentences went together in my head and as we walked under it I said, "Seriously? This is the real size of the earth? I always thought it would be bigger." Yeeeeeah. Not my finest moment. Manly still hasn't let me live that one down. Ha!

After we left Epcot we went back to the hotel for the kids to swim for a while before our late dinner reservation at Magic Kingdom. It was perfect weather for a quick swim, and the kids LOVED the Fantasmic pool.

Momma and the babies on the bus.

The cutest kids on the planet in their matching suits from Nana and Pop.

After swimming we get everyone dressed again and headed over to the Magic Kingdom for the first time. We had NO idea this great day would come CRASHING down around us very soon, but that's for a different post...
