We like to travel over by boat from Magic Kingdom, then walk through the camping and lodge area. I can't imagine camping for fun in Disney World because I HATE camping, but I guess there are some who like it.
Once you make your way over to the pavilion area there are characters for meet and greet for the first several families in line, anyway. There was a woman behind us who was HOT about her children not getting a chance to see the characters because the line cutoff was right in front of them. I would have let them go ahead of us, but she was so ugly to the cast member that I decided she deserved to get cut off. While you wait to be seated there are cast members passing out samples of their lemonade and fruit punch. You are seated on long picnic style tables, then you can go make your plate while the show gets started.
When we were there before there was a whole show full of rope tricks and fun family type games, but this time it was just music. There is a live band, and two hosts as well as a lead singer. I thought there were several songs that weren't really very family-friendly, but none too bad that the kids noticed. Basically just typical country songs you'd hear on the radio.
After the songs get going Mickey, Minnie, Chip and Dale, and Goofy all come out and dance with the kids. When we were there before it was like a mob, but this time they had some rules in place that kept the crowd to a minimum. It was a lot of fun, the food was good, and the kids had a BLAST!
We had some trouble getting home, because we missed our monorail stop, then had to ride an additional bus to get back to our hotel, but we finally made it home, did showers for everyone, the went to bed in preparation for our last day!
My handsome baby boy. He LOVED riding the boat.
The big girls relaxing on the boat after a long day at Magic Kingdom.
Silly Mia. Her hair was SO amazingly wild in the Florida weather. Ha!
Mia loves her momma!
Look at all those beautiful kids!
Brubbs loves Goofy.
Chip-n-Dale. I love Isaiah's face. He's so happy!
My silly middle kids with Goofy.
Enjoying the food and punch.
These are the two hosts. This is the front stage and main dance floor, but there are two other dance floors as well.
All the characters getting ready to start the show.
Kokky KK showing me her moves.
More KK moves.
Olivia(and her crazy dance hair) showing Chip(or Dale) how she can MOVE!
More Livi grooving!
I mean, give this girl a dance floor and she comes to life.
She was putting the other kids to shame! Ha!
She was footloose and FANCY FREE!!
Addison wasn't as much into it, but she stood there and waved her dress around and smiled.
The kids dancing.
Eli dancing with dad.
Isaiah showing me his dancing skills.
Daddy double dancing. These two are starting to look like twins, I think. When they're sitting they look about the same size because Mia is so tall.
Livi and Addi dancing together.
Addi waving her dress some more. Ha! Bless her middle child heart.
On the boat ride back Olivia decided to practice her mime skills again. I have no idea where she learned to do this, but there is no glass on that boat.
I love this one of Addi being so happy.
Mia looking half grown.
My sweet little babies were so tired after a night of dancing.
