Home Brewed Smittle: Week 12. 28 to go.

Blinded by the light!! YES YES YES! I can see the light at the end of the first trimester tunnel! YAY! This week was the first time I was able to eat meat in weeks! I was also able to eat bread, which has been tough to be without. I've had a little more energy, but still tired. Mostly because we've had a CRAZY week with Bubby having an emergency surgery on Wednesday.
Babycenter.com says the baby is the size of a lime today. That seems smaller than a fig, but whatever. The biggest change this week is that the baby now has reflexes. Guess I better not hit his/her knee with a hammer...
I'll go see Kim(my midwife) for the first time this week. We are so excited to hear that tiny heartbeat. It always gives me chills when we hear it for the first time. Such a blessing.
The crazy pregnancy dreams are in full swing. I dreamed I delivered a baby in my parents house, then went with my mom on a date for her and a member of the Olympic basketball team. I guess she left dad for someone taller. Ha! So strange.
School starts tomorrow for the two big girls, so we took them to get a first day of school outfit. Yes, they'll just be wearing it around the house, but it was totally worth it to see their little faces light up in the dressing room after finding, "the one."
OK, I've got too many things to do to be writing here.
