The New Fantasyland is a Dream Come True

After Isaiah went missing we had to step up our game as far as safety went. We were totally fine when we had the strollers, but when we had to leave the strollers behind we really had to be more careful. Magic Kingdom is no joke. Even in the off season. We decided any time we weren't with strollers we just HAD to all be holding hands with someone. Even the big girls. Isaiah was MUCH more alert after his little mishap. I was glad he had learned that lesson, but would NOT want to do it again.
The next morning we headed back to Magic Kingdom. Tuesday was to be Addison's magical day. We first made our way over to the new fantasyland. The new area is amazing! The rides are top notch, and the details are really awesome. We had little to no wait on the rides. Our only issue was the amount of riders we had. You must be 7 years old to ride alone, so Olivia was the only one of the kids that could ride without a parent. Because there were a few rides that the babies couldn't do we had to wait a while so that each of the kids could do it. That was a snare we weren't ready for, but the lower crowds helped us make it through pretty quickly.
The girls in front of the new splash park. This is located in the new fantasyland right in front of the train station. It's SO cute, and just right for hot kiddos.

The new castle. It's really amazing. It looks HUGE from a distance, but as you get closer you can see that it's actually a trick on your eyes. It's likely not much taller than Olivia.

The new attraction Belle's Enchanted Tales was for sure the best improvement in our opinion. You go into the attraction by entering Maurice's workshop, but then a magic mirror opens up and you walk through into the Beast's castle. This is the waiting area where they choose people to be in the show. The armoire is AMAZING! The face is CGI, and looks SO real that even I was scratching my head trying to figure out how they did it. She talks to the guests about getting ready for the show.

KK was chosen to be Belle's horse, Filipe.

Brubbs was chosen to be a salt shaker. He was so proud.

Once everyone is chosen for the show you are moved into the library where Belle joins. You can see from this picture that Lumiere is another addition to this attraction. He is also computer generated, and VERY lifelike. He also talks to the guests and is the story teller.

KK telling Belle that there is something wrong.

All the "enchanted friends."

After the show Mia was chosen to lead the parade with Belle.

Mia and Belle.

Isaiah showing Belle his best Beast growl.

KK getting love from Belle.
We made it through all of the new fantasyland before lunch, then headed over to the new Be Our Guest restaurant for and early lunch so that we could beat the crowd. It was a really great atmosphere, but pretty complicated to order for our larger group. We had to be split up in two groups of four, which meant Manly ordering for himself and 2 kids, and me doing the same. It's a touch screen ordering system which is cool, but again, a little complicated. You take a red rose to your table, which magically allows the wait staff to know where you are sitting. They bring the food out to you in true Beauty and the Beast fashion-a glass cart. Our food was tasty. I especially loved my strawberry cheesecake cupcake. YUM-OH!
The front entrance of Be Our Guest. Our only complaint was that the front door opens straight into the main dining room, which takes away from some of the magic of the moment.

There is a hallway full of these guys. They have sounds playing which makes them sound like they are whispering to one another about the guests.

Addison was a little spooked by the guards. HA!

Inside the grand ballroom(I think that's what it was called.) It looks like it's snowing inside, so that was REALLY cool for the kids.

The little girls really loved this place.

Olivia LOVED her sweet potatoes and the rest of her meal.

Eli checking out the serving cart.

The kids in the entry way. This window is actually in the hallway beside the entryway in front of the bathrooms. A kind of strange place to pose for pictures, but it's really pretty!

After lunch we did some of the classic rides which everyone(even the baby)can enjoy. I love that this park is really family friendly as far as everyone being able to enjoy most of the rides. We were able to leave Eli in the front pack most of the day and continue to ride the rides, so that was nice.

Olivia trying her hand at the sword.

Addison giving it her all.

KK thinking she's going to get it!

Isaiah using his muscles.

Even dad gave it a try.

I was obviously the strongest, but still it didn't budge. Ha!

Eli enjoyed a stroller nap.

While the crazies tried the teacups.

Mia's favorite ride was the Winnie the Pooh ride. When I asked her later what was her favorite thing about Disney she said it was this ride.

Momma and Eli on the Pooh ride.

Mia also LOVED "It's a Small World." Who doesn't? I mean it's air conditioned, slow moving, and calm. I nearly took a Disney nap on it, myself.

Except Eli was YELPING with delight behind me.

Mickey's Philharmagic is still the coolest 3d show there. Here are the big girls in their glasses.

And Olivia deciding if the show was EVEN MORE 3D with 3 pair of glasses on.

We watched the park parade. It seemed a little different to us this year, but that could have been because we weren't right up front and we were really HOT and tired.

We finished our family fun with this castle stage show. The kids love this show because most of the popular characters are part of it.
After this show I took Addison to the Bippity Boppity Boutique. I'm going to give that experience it's own post, because I have lots of pictures of my pretty girl.
